Mumbai: Shiv Sena on Monday wondered whether the NDA still existed after Shiromani Akali Dal (Shiad) exited from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre in protest against the agricultural bills. At the same time, Shiv Sena questioned who else is left in it now.

Shiv Sena, in its mouthpiece 'Saamna' editorial, said it is strange that NDA's 'last pillar' Akali Dal was not prevented from being separated from the alliance. "When the clouds were removed from NDA, there was no attempt to stop them," it said. Earlier, Shiv Sena also separated from NDA. What is left in NDA now after these two withdrawals? What is the Hindutva of those who are still in the alliance?"

The editorial says, "Punjab and Maharashtra represent gallantry and Shiad and Shiv Sena are the face of this bravery." Shiv Sena wrote, "Now that some have said 'Ram-Ram' (goodbye) to this alliance and therefore, NDA is no longer left with Ram who has lost two of his lions (Shiv Sena and Shiad). ''
