Mumbai: Shiv Sena has once again targeted the BJP in its mouthpiece 'Saamana'. In Saamna's editorial, the saffron party has been criticized for the severe defeat in the district council elections in Maharashtra. The editorial says that the 'makeup' of the BJP's face has taken off. The redness that came due to power went down as soon as the power came. Elections were held in six districts including Nagpur, Nandurbar, Dhule, Washim, Palghar, and Akola. Out of these, BJP came to power in Dhule. Shiv Sena's Pati Kori was in the last district council. It has won four places now.

The editorial states that, 'Even in the Nandurbar district, the Congress would have shown some wisdom and had gone before the public with Shiv Sena as Mahavikas Aghadi, the BJP's name would have been erased from the Zilla Parishad. After leaving the Nandurbar district by hand, the BJP is so desperate that the goons of the mercenaries attacked the Shiv Sena office in Akkalkuwa and set it on fire.

It further said in the editorial that, 'The power of the BJP has gone from Palghar district adjacent to Mumbai. The deprived Aghadis in Akola and the nationalists in Washim have won in many places. BJP was in government till yesterday in all these district councils. But after losing power in Maharashtra, the Zilla Parishad also became vacant.
