Mumbai: Political temperature has warmed to open the temple in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena has attacked its old ally BJP over this issue. Shiv Sena wrote in its mouthpiece Saamana that 'those who stop the Amarnath Yatra are demanding to open temples in Maharashtra'. This time Amarnath Yatra has been canceled due to Corona infection.

On this, the Shiv Sena took a dig at the central government and said 'Open the temples of Maharashtra and cancel Amarnath Yatra there, this is a dual policy'. Saamana further wrote, "Due to the Corona crisis, 'gods' from all over the country are imprisoned in lockdown. Earlier there was a struggle between the gods and demons, then the demons used to take the gods captive, such stories we see in the Puranas. Now the demon named Corona has taken the gods captive. Not only the temple but not any prayer place has to be opened, such is the government's order. So most of the religious festivals are closed.

The front further wrote, "Mount Mary's fair in Mumbai was canceled. But a few days ago the unsung leaders of BJP of Maharashtra demanded from CM Uddhav that the temples of Maharashtra be opened during the period. On one basis, the BJP is making demands like 'Yeh Kholo, Woh Kholo' every day, it will be good once it becomes clear. "
