GORAKHPUR:: In a shocking incident, a seventy-year-old man married his 28-year-old daughter-in-law in Chhapia Umaro village in Gorakhpur.

Photos of the 'couple' have gone viral on social media.

Kailash Yadav, a chowkidar at the Barhalganj police station, lost his wife 12 years ago, and his third son died died sometime later.

Kailash remarried his widowed daughter-in-law, Pooja, but the marriage did not last, and she went home and began living in her husband's home.

Kailash secretly married Pooja without alerting anyone in the neighbourhood or village, and it was only after the photograph went viral that others learned about it.

Inspector J N Shukla of the Barhalganj police station said he saw the photo on social media and would look into the marriage.
