Patna: In a concerning incident on Wednesday night, a female constable, Pammi Khatoon, posted in the Patna Police Lines, was shot while taking photographs on Marine Drive in Patna, Bihar. Accompanied by her friend and Sub Inspector Shabana Azmi, the two were capturing moments when the unfortunate incident occurred around 10 pm.

Pammi Khatoon, assigned to HRMS at Patna Police Line, sustained an injury to her left hand in the shooting. The exact details surrounding the incident remain unclear, with no information on the identity of the assailant or the motive behind the attack.

According to Khatoon, the assailant approached them, inquired about the address of Digha Golambar, and subsequently fired the shot. Her husband expressed disbelief at the seemingly random attack, suggesting that there might be an underlying, undisclosed reason for the shooting.
