These days the craze for short films is rising and the director of feature films is also making them very seriously. Various short films on different topics have been released till now and many are being directed too. Delhi's director Sachin Gupta's short film 'Pihu', which has made films like 'Paratha Gali' (2014) and 'Little Lutf little Ishq' (2015), is getting famous in the internet world. The movie has been seen by nearly three million people on YouTube.
Gupta has made a film by keeping youth in mind, which shows the change in the deep love of Pihu and Danish childhood friendship. Sanya Irani, who has been working on serials like 'Mile Jab Hum Tum' and 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Dunn' on the small screen, has played the role of Pihu while Sumit Kaul is in the role of Danish. Senior playwright Dau Dayal Bansal is the father of 'Pihu'.
According to Gupta, 'Pihu' is the story of love's passionate moments. These are such moments which are very special in life despite being ordinary. Hence, it can also be special for the viewers. The story depicts how two childhood friends fall in love and what happens further in life when they grow up.
