Here Rampal Baba's followers had satsang and a marriage was taking place. The marriage took place between Hemant of Bhanpura and Sunita of Kota, Rajasthan. The marriage rituals were going on and the family members were blessing the bride and groom. Suddenly some miscreants entered the pandal with sticks, swords and pistols. As soon as the miscreants arrived, they waved their swords and started hitting people with sticks. At the same time, when people asked the reason for this and protested, a miscreant scared them by showing a pistol. He further told that when the miscreant opened fire, a stampede broke out. Meanwhile, the bullet hit 55-year-old Devi Lal.
Devi Lal hailed from Jamunia village in Shamgarh in Mandsaur. He fell to the ground as soon as the bullet hit him. Doctors referred him to Kota in Rajasthan but Devi Lal died on the way to Kota. In the case, police said that the pistol fireman has been identified as Chandu. He is currently absconding.
