A 26-year-old Shradha meets a boy named Aftab, falls in love and then decides to move in with him against her own parents’ wish. The girl is killed by her own live-in partner who chops off her body into 35 pieces. The accused roams around the city for over 18 nights to dispose of the body parts at different places in Delhi. Now Shardha’s friend made some shocking revelations in the case. He said, "Shraddha and Aftaab were in a relationship since 2018. Initially, they lived happily, then Sharddha started telling that Aftaab beats her. She wanted to leave him but couldn't do so. They shifted to Delhi for job. I was worried about Shraddha since July as there wasn't any reply from her side. Her phone was switched off too. After enquiring about her among her other friends, I informed her brother & we approached police."
He further said, "Since August, I was worried. She was not responding to my texts. Phone was off. That’s when I was concerned. I started checking with common friends, then I informed brother. Told them we should reach out to cops. They used to fight a lot. There was a point when she called me and told me to rescue her from the house. She even told me she will get killed if I continue living in that house. And we had rescued her once but never informed the cops since she didn’t want that."
According to the police, An argument had taken place between the accused Aftab and Shradha on May 18. She was shouting, therefore, in order to silence her., Aftab pressed Shradha's face due to which she choked to death. In order to hide this horrific crime. Aftab chopped off her body into 35 pieces and continued disposing them for 18 days in different parts across the city in order to hides his crime.
