Pitru are served in Shraddh or Pitru Paksha. The ancestors are fed food so that they get satisfied and bless us. During this time, we should not be careless in worship. Let's know about some special things to remember in Shraddh.

-Mahatmya should be read in the 7th chapter of Bhagavadgita on the days of Shraddh. After this, you should recite the entire chapter.

-Before the beginning of Shraddh and after its completion, the following Mantra should be chanted 3-3 times.

ॐ देवताभ्यः पितृभ्यश्च महायोगिभ्य एव च
नमः स्वाहायै स्वधायै नित्यमेव नमो नम:।

- If you chant the ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं स्वधादेव्यै स्वाहा Mantra in the Shraddh, the ancestors are satisfied with this and you get the result that they offer good wishes to your entire family.

Those who do not have a son, how can they perform Shraddh?

In this situation, this process can be completed by Dauhitra (son of daughter). If such a situation does not happen, then the wife herself can perform Shraadh with her husband.

- Incense must be used during Shraddh or Puja. Also, be careful not to smoke only ghee. Conde must also be used.

- Bilvaphal should not be used in worship. While the samidha must be offered.

- During the Shraddh  Paksha you should chant 1 Mala Dwadash Mantra daily with "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya". Also, keep in mind that every day you offer your fruit to your father.
