Workers return home, special trains reached Ratlam, Khandwa and Meghnagar

The lockdown period has been extended to prevent corona. Due to this, labourers are trapped in many other states. Special trains reached Ratlam, Khandwa and Meghnagar on Sunday with about 3 and a half thousand workers trapped in Maharashtra-Gujarat in lockdown. Such workers also came in Ratlam, whose buses did not come from the districts. At the local level, the administration made arrangements and sent them off. The Ratlam of Shramik Special Train continues to bring back 5 thousand workers of the state from Maharashtra-Gujarat. After starting from Friday, the third train brought 1143 workers from Rajkot and Morvi in Gujarat on Sunday.

However, the district administration had arranged for the medical examination, including landing and eating at the station. Buses have been arranged by the administration through the regional transport department. After this, buses from different districts reached to pick up the labourer. Mandsaur, Neemuch and Ratlam districts did not have the number of labourers, yet they had come.

A train carrying labours came from Aurangabad in Khandwa. A total of 1170 migrant laborers including 883 Khandwa and 68 in Burhanpur and other workers of the district came.
