How can one forget actor Sarvadaman D Banerjee, who created an identity among the audience by playing the role of Lord Krishna in Ramanand Sagar's TV serial Sri Krishna? Sarvadaman Banerjee was born on 14 March 1965 in Magarwada, Unnao, while he did his schooling from St. Aloysius School in Kanpur and graduated from Pune Film Institute. Sarvadaman Banerjee worked in Hindi, Telugu and Bengali films in his career. However, he got recognition from serial Sri Krishna. Apart from Sri Krishna Krishna Sarvadman had worked in some other spiritual projects like Adi Shankara, Dattatreya and Swami Vivekananda. Shankaracharya received the National Award for Best Feature Film in 1983. Sarvadaman was last seen in Sushant Singh Rajput's film MS Dhoni.

He was in the role of Dhoni's coach Chanchal Bhattacharya in this film. Sarvadaman had also acted in the serials of Arjun, Jai Ganga Maiya and Om Namah Shivaya Na apart from Sri Krishna. Sarvadaman, who played Lord Krishna's brilliant role, now stays out of this glamour industry. With this, nowadays they are in Rishikesh. Sarvadaman Banerjee runs a meditation centre of his own in a sweltering atmosphere between rivers and mountains. People coming from abroad take advantage of yoga and meditation. There is also an NGO named Wings of Sarvadaman. Through this, he takes care of the education of about 200 children and provides training to 50 poor women of Uttarakhand to make life worth living.

Sarvadaman Banerjee says that there is no glamour in the world of glamour, it is for those who see. There is no glamour for those working in it, our eyes are spoiled while working in the bright light in the shooting of Krishna. He said that the spiritual energy inside him was beating hard since childhood. When he was five years old, he did not speak, people used to think that the boy is dumb. Then he came to acting after his studies and this Shri Krishna project was going on he came up with the idea of the meditation centre.
