Ahmedabad: Gujarat's Somnath Temple Trust has come forward to help people amid the outbreak of coronavirus across the country. The Trust has announced a donation of Rs 50 lakhs to the Community Health Centre at Prabhas Patan for setting up an oxygen plant. According to Somnath trust, the oxygen plant will be operational in the next three weeks. The work will be under the supervision of the District Health Department. The oxygen plant will be able to supply 51 cylinders of oxygen daily.

Shri Somnath Temple Trust is doing a lot of work in addition. In this era of the corona epidemic, Somnath Trust has given 73 rooms of Lilavati Bhawan to the government to set up a covid care centre. At the same time, the Trust is also running tiffin services for the needy in association with the district administration. When people are struggling badly for oxygen in the hospital in the corona epidemic, whether it is a trust or a charitable organization or a leader of any party, everyone is helping as much as possible.

Similarly, at Veraval, the headquarters of Gir-Somnath, donors are coming together to help the people. Somnath Trust and Somnath MLA have also come to help the people for this purpose.
