These days, the Indian cricket team is playing the last match of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru. The day-night Test is being played from Saturday (March 12). In the match, the Indian team won the toss and batted first and scored 252 runs, but at one point the team was in a bad condition. The Indian team lost 4 wickets for 86 runs. In such a situation, Shreyas Iyer, who came out to bat at number six, took over the team and played a superb 92-run inning. Due to this, Shreyas has set an unwanted record and he has joined the club of legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.
In fact, Shreyas Iyer, who was playing on 92, lost his wicket through stumping by wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella. Shreyas was made a victim by left-arm spinner Pravin Jayawickrama. With this, Shreyas became the fourth Indian player to be stumped between 90 and 99 runs. Before Shreyas, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have also been stumped out during nervous-90.
