Four yugas have been told in the scriptures. It has Satyug, Tretayug, Dwapar Yug and Kalyug. Out of all these ages, three have left and the Kalyug is going on. It is said that after the Mahabharata war ended in Dwapar era, Lord Krishna also returned to his Dwarka. He stayed in Dwarka for some time of his own and then Sri Krishna went to Vaikunth which is called his real abode.

It is said that at the time when Shri Krishna left, Arjun was losing the battle and the Pandavas were constantly losing and were very unhappy with it. At that time Yudhishthira had made Abhimanyu and Uttara's son Parikrit king, and after that Yudhishthira, Bhim, Arjun, Nakul and Sahadev went on a journey with their wife Draupadi towards the Himalayas. It is said that in this journey the Pandavas and Draupadi had ended and only Yudhishthira was the one who joined the physical heaven. When Shri Krishna left, Kalyug had come to the earth and King Parikrit defeated him in the war. At that time, Kalyug prayed for a place on the earth and on this, King Parikshit gave Kalyug a place with gambling, violence, adultery and alcoholism.

At that time, Kalyug had asked for a place again, and the test had given Kalyug a place to live in gold. It is said that those who give up all the above things gambling, violence, adultery, alcohol and gold, do not dominate the Kalyug. Apart from this, it is also said that Kayug has another glory. To get the auspicious results, remembering and chanting only the name of God is the only solution in this age. Along with this, donating is also considered to be the best in the Kalyug.
