Almora resident badminton player Lakshya Sen and former Sports Authority of India badminton coach DK Sen will represent India in the Asian Badminton Championships to be held in Manila Philippines from 11 to 16 February. Earlier too, DK Sen has gone on to become a coach with the Indian junior team several times. In his training, the players have won many medals for the country. He is currently recruiting players as a coach at Prakash Padukone Academy Bangalore.

At the same time Lakshya Sen has won silver medals in Youth Olympics, medals in the World Junior Badminton Championships along with becoming Junior Asian Champion in 2018, and has won gold medals in five consecutive international tournaments in 2019. He currently played very well in the Premier Badminton League as well and led his team to the semi-finals. Let us tell you that the Chennai team bought them for 36 lakhs.
