Popular filmmaker Shyam Ramsay of Ramsay Brothers died at the age of 67. Shyam breathed his last in Mumbai this morning. A few hours ago, his nephew Amit Ramsay has given this news. He was a well-known Hindi film maker who has given many horror films to Bollywood. It is being told that he was ill due to pneumonia.
During a conversation with a web portal, Amit informed about his death. He told that he was going sick due to pneumonia and he breathed his last at around 5 in the morning. In the 1970s, the Ramsay Brothers were known for their horror genre's low-budget films, which were unique mix films of horror and erotics. Shyam was one of the seven siblings. All his horror films have been huge hits, which are still liked till today.
Shyam has directed many films like 'Andhaera', 'Purana Mandir', 'Purani Haveli', 'Koi Hai'. Shyam along with his brother Tulsi ran a horror series on TV. At the same time, let us know that Tulsi Ramsay also died in December last year. 77-year-old Tulsi died after complaining of chest pain and when he was taken to the hospital, doctors declared him dead. In a short span of time, two brothers who died were very famous.
