Bengaluru: The battle of Congress-JDS alliance, which lost out on the power of Karnataka due to internal confrontation a few months ago, has now come to the fore. Quoting GT Deve Gowda, a JDS legislator and a minister in Kumaraswamy's cabinet, said that Kumaraswamy had asked BJP candidates in Mysore and Chamarajanagar to vote during the Lok Sabha elections. Congress leaders were reacting to Kumaraswamy's statement in which he blamed his father HD Deve Gowda in Tumkuru, his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy in Mandya and Siddaramaiah for the defeat of Congress candidate KH Muniyappa in Kolar. Reversing Siddaramaiah's statement, Kumaraswamy said that "the Congress leader who accused me of betrayal has betrayed Deve Gowda, who had learned politics under his shadow."
