Bengaluru: Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has alleged on Wednesday that the BJP government of the state is interested in taking advantage of the violence in Bengaluru recently. It has not taken any relief measures even for flood affected areas. After this, he also demanded a judicial inquiry into the violence perpetrated on the social media post of the Congress MLA relative, saying that the incident reflects the failure of the intelligence system.

Along with this, Siddaramaiah tweeted on his Twitter account in a series of tweets and asked CM BS Yeddyurappa to instruct his ministers to visit the flood affected area and start relief work. He tweeted, "The entire state is facing floods and its mismanagement, but Karnataka BJP is only interested in taking political advantage of Bengaluru violence." ''

The recent riots in Bengaluru broke out rapidly in less than three hours after posting derogatory posts on social media. Kuldeep Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) said, "Naveen had posted the offending message around six o'clock in the evening and riots erupted by 9 o'clock." The government system was already battling the Corona infection epidemic and the sudden rioting has become more and more troublesome. Hundreds of people took to the road and riots erupted after P. Naveen, the nephew of Congress MLA Akhand Srinivas Murthy of Pulikesinagar, posted an abusive message on social media.
