Bengaluru: The corona report of former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has not confirmed the infection. He is admitted to a private hospital for treatment and he will be discharged from the hospital on Thursday. This information has been received from Siddaramaiah's office on Wednesday. It has been told in a statement that Siddaramaiah, the Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, has now fully recovered.

This statement said, "According to the doctors, the samples of saliva from the throat was examined for the second time and the corona infection has not been confirmed in the report. Siddaramaiah was admitted to Manipal Hospital on 4 August. He only had a fever for the first 2 days and after that, he had no symptoms of corona infection". According to the statement, "The doctors told that Siddaramaiah will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. Apart from this, his son and Congress MLA Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah from Varuna was also found corona infected on 7 August. Manipur hospital, after treatment of corona disease, CM BS Yeddyurappa was discharged on Monday. He is currently in isolation at home".

More than 1 lakh people have been recovered of Coronavirus so far in Karnataka, while on Tuesday, 6,257 new cases have been reported while 86 people have lost their lives. So far 1,88,611 corona has been infected in the state, while 3,398 people have lost their lives so far due to infection.
