On Friday, 20 years of Kargil Vijay was celebrated across the country and on this wonderful occasion, Bollywood actor Siddharth Malhotra recalled Captain Vikram Batra saying that he was able to do full justice to his character in his biopic 'Sher Shah' and to please the martyr's family.

For your information, Captain Vikram Batra dedicated his life to the service of the nation while protecting Indian territory from Pakistani infiltrators during the Kargil war in 1999. He was also known as 'Sher Shah' because of his bravery. The hero of the Kargil war was also awarded the PVC after his martyrdom, which is also India's highest gallantry award.

Siddharth, who recently played his role, said he had a "huge responsibility on his shoulder." So I can't take this project at all and I met his parents and his brother, they are emotionally much more connected with him. So hopefully I won't disappoint them and do justice to this role.
