Islamabad: Atrocities on minorities (Hindu-Sikhs) are increasing in the neighboring country of Pakistan. Sisters and daughters of minorities are treated degradingly and forcibly converted to Islam by marrying middle-aged Muslims. The police often do not even pay attention to the victims. One such example involves a Sikh teacher who was forcibly converted to Islam in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This incident is of 20 August 2022.

The Sikh community is protesting on the streets in protest. A video of sloganeering outside a police station has also surfaced. According to reports, a Sikh teacher named Dina Kaur was kidnapped last Saturday. The next day, 21 August 2022, the family was told that their daughter had married a Muslim man. After which the family immediately reached the police station, but the police did not take the matter seriously. When there was no FIR in the case, the Sikhs became agitated and started protesting. Sikhs demand that their protest will not stop until their child is returned.

At the same time, BJP leader in India Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also condemned the incident and said, 'How can a family silently see their daughters being forcibly converted to religion and emotionally exploited? This is against basic human rights and we stand in support of Sikh brothers of Pakistan. I request External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar to intervene in this matter. Pakistani PM is not paying attention to these things. The tweets we make demanding the protection of Sikhs are also ignored.

Let us tell you that minorities in Pakistan are subjected to atrocities on a daily basis. In May, two Sikhs were murdered in Peshawar, at that time there was fierce opposition in India. Along with this, forced conversion of girls of Christians, sometimes of Sikhs, and sometimes girls of Hindus has become common practice in Pakistan. In Pakistan, girls are kidnapped, converted to religion and married and then produced in court after making a nikahnama, and the victim's family is left with just a sip of blood. Overall, the minority community in Pakistan is suffering hell, but the so-called human rights organizations around the world turn a blind eye to these matters.
