Sachdeva, a 55-year-old leader of the Sikh community in Afghanistan, was kidnapped from Paktia province along with 10 people from the minority community, Hindu and Sikhs there and later he was released.

He came to India on Sunday after India provided visas and travel facilities. They used to tell me that we will cut off your head and bring it to India.

Sachdeva said that he still trembles after remembering the torture while being held hostage. He said, "We faced brutal violence there. I still feel awe." Sachdeva further said, "But now I have come to India. Now I want to forget all the pain and pain and all the torture while being held hostage. ''
