Simhasth Kumbh will about to begin grom April 22 to and alot more to planned to make the festival more grand, numbers of devotees would come to enjoy the kumbh and one of the most important part of the Kumbh is Shahi snan during Simhastha-2016, three Shahi Snans will be held.

This was decided at a joint meeting administration and Akhada Parishad at Ujjain today. First Shahi Snan will be held at Chaitra Shukl 15, Friday April 22, second on Akshya Tritiya Vaishakh Shukl 3 Monday May 9 and third Shahi Snan will be held on Vaishakh Shukl 15, Saturday May 21, 2016. From administration’s side the meeting was attended by in-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh, Central Simhastha Committee’s Chairman Makhan Singh, Simhastha Mela Authority’s Chairman Diwakar Nathu and representatives of all 13 Akhadas including Akhada Parishad’s President Nanrendra Giri and General Secretary Hari Giri. In-charge Minister said that Ujjain Simhastha would be successful with blessings of saints and seers.

The state government had started preparations for this mega event 4 years ago. A sum of 3 thousand 500 crore was sanctioned for Simhastha. Not only infrastructure development works have been undertaken at Ujjain, but all historic temples have also been renovated and beautified. The state government is also making best arrangements in Mela area.
