In the ongoing Indonesia Super Series Premier tournament yesterday the Rio Olympic silver-medallist PV Sindhu is out as she was defeated by the Beiwen Zhang of America by in the game that lasted for 54 minutes.
The Indian player Saina Nehwal is also out of the tournament as she was defeated by the Thailand opponent Nitchaon Jindapol by 5-21, 21-6, 21-16 in a match that lasted for 63 minutes.
Luckily, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy have managed to book their place in the quarter-finals of the tournament and Srikanth will now lock horns with Tzu Wei Wang of Taiwan for a place in the semi-finals.
