Popular Punjabi singer Anmol Gagan Maan has joined the AAP party. From Fatehgarh Sahib, the Akali Dal (Badal) chief Amarinder Singh Libra and RMPI's state treasurer Lal Chand Katruchak also joined AAP.
In a media interaction held in Chandigarh, the party's state head and MP Bhagwant Maan, Punjab affairs in-charge Jarnail Singh and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema included these three in the party. MLA Meet Hair, Organization Incharge and Core Committee Member and Chairman of Political Review Committee Harchand Singh Barsat were also present on the occasion.
In a discussion with the media, Bhagwant Maan said that while the joining of these celebrities will strengthen the AAP party, the 'mafia raj' of Captain-Badal will be demolished for the interests of the state. Maan told that many famous celebrities belonging to different areas who think of making Punjab happy again are becoming part of the AAP party. Miss Mohali Punjabi Woman's Award and Gagandeep Kaur Maan, who won the World Folk Dance competition in London, has gained popularity in the field of singing as Anmol Gagan Maan.
Anmol Gagan Maan, the creator of the 'Real Man Kiwen Baniye' award, said that due to the decline in the society and the Nizam, he has decided to enter politics without any greed. It is being believed by his statement that soon more people can join the party.
