CHENNAI: With his latest English single, "You," earning him his second MTV EMA nomination for "Best India Act," singer-songwriter Armaan Malik, who has had a fantastic year thus far working on career-defining projects like the feature on Ed Sheeran's "2Step" and "Memu Aagamu" with Allu Arjun, appears ready to close the year on a high.

A significant turning point in the process of bringing his music from India to the rest of the globe was reached when his debut international single, "Control," earned him the MTV EMA in 2020.

"I am pleased to gain yet another nomination at the prestigious MTV EMAs for my English track, 'You,'" says Armaan in reference to this honour.
