The times we are living in have opened doors of opportunities for creative professionals. Thanks to social media and the internet, artists have got a common platform to showcase their art to the world. Among many art forms, music has gotten tremendous support from social media platforms where artists have come into the limelight with their exceptional talent. In this cut-throat competitive world, Ravikesh Vatsa has made his mark as one of the most promising singers and writers in the industry.

Ravikesh recently released his music video titled ‘Ameer Dost’ in May. The beautiful song touches on the nuances of friendship and portrays how a friend’s behaviour changes with time. Till now, the song has clocked more than 3.8 million views on YouTube and is available across different music streaming platforms. This is his fourth offering after hit songs like ‘Pagla’, #DohLog’ and ‘Kuch Raatein’.

In a time when peppy and party numbers are ruling the charts, Ravikesh feels that the essence of meaningful music should not get diminished. Therefore, a majority of his musical melodies have lyrics that are deep and can touch people’s hearts. For ‘Ameer Dost’, Ravikesh penned down the song’s lyrics with music composer Pankaj Raathod, and the song is produced by Vibhas.

Moreover, Ravikesh is currently focusing to make his voice reach across India. In such a dynamic time, the singer feels that social media is a blessing for all the artists. Revealing about the same, he said, “People have got more options to connect to a larger audience. Besides social media platforms, there are several music streaming platforms where music artists can share their work. A lot has changed ever since the internet blossomed in the past decade.”

In addition, Ravikesh went on to say that the web has given independent music labels a lot of potential artists. “When there was no internet, the artists took time to garner recognition among the audience. But now, things have changed drastically. While many think that the internet can make anyone a star, it is the talent and the content that has the last laugh. I believe to upgrade my skills with the changing trends”, the singer added.

With a successful track record of music hits, Ravikesh has got various other tracks in the pipeline. The singer expressed his desire to collaborate with leading artists and music companies in India. We hope that Ravikesh Vatsa makes a place for himself in the music industry, and may his work reach out to the maximum audience through different mediums.
