The position of well-known singer SP Balasubramaniam remains critical, and he is placed on ventilator and ECMO equipment. The hospital, which is treating Balasubramanian, has reported this on Wednesday. Famous film director Bharathiraja has urged the film industry to make collective prayers on Thursday, wishing the 74-year-old singer a quick recovery.
Assistant Director Dr. Anuradha Bhaskaran said during the conversation, 'SP Balasubramanian has been admitted to MGM Health Care because of corona. Their condition remains critical, and they are placed on ventilators and ECMO equipment in the ICU. A team of experts is treating them, and their vital organs are being monitored. The condition is satisfactory at this time.
Singer Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to the hospital on 5 August after he developed an infection with COVID-19 virus. This central Tamil film director and longtime friend of Balasubrahmanyam, Bharathiraja said that the entire film industry should pray silently for one minute at 6 pm on Thursday. After that, a song sung by Balasubramaniam should be played and pray for his recovery. He further said in a statement, 'Let us all pray to nature so that it does not take away Balasubramaniam from us.' With this, he greeted everyone to pray.
