Singhu border murder: Nihang Sarabjit tells 4 names to police, Court sent them on 7day remand

New Delhi: Nihang Sikh Sardar Sarabjit Singh was produced before a civil judge (junior division) court in Sonepat by the police in connection with the barbaric murder of youth on Delhi's Singhu border. Haryana Police had sought 14 days police remand from the court to the accused. However, the court granted seven days' remand instead of 14 days sought by the police.

Haryana Police also told the court that the weapons used in the murder are yet to be recovered. Police also said that Nihang Sarabjit Singh has told four names in his disclosure statement. These are also being searched. Haryana Police will go to Gurdaspur and Chamkaur to arrest the other accused. A crime branch and police team produced Nihang Sardar Sarabjit Singh in court this afternoon.

Haryana Police had sought 14 days remand of Nihang Sarabjit Singh but the court remanded him to seven days police remand. Just a day ago, a case of brutal murder of a youth from Tarantaran in Punjab on the Singhu border came to light. The postmortem report of the deceased has arrived. According to the postmortem report, 37 injury marks were found on the body of the deceased. According to the postmortem report, the youth has been attacked with sharp-edged weapons as well as sticks and other weapons. The cause of death of the youth is said to be excessive bleeding.
