May 18,2016:Arrested six persons involving the owner of a noticeable hotel in New Delhi area in link with the murder of a 57-year-old lawyer in southeast Delhi's Jamia Nagar.

According to the police, “Apart from the hotel owner, the detained persons comprise a group of contract killers, who allegedly shot dead M M Khan, an assistant legal advisor with the NDMC”.

Khan was allegedly shot dead at a packed street on Monday evening when he was heading back home in his car which was seized by motorcycle-borne assailants, who shot at him from a close range.

An official had said,”His relatives told police that he had been receiving calls from unknown people during odd hours of the day. Police had recovered his mobile phone and the call data was being analyse”
