HYDERABAD: Since Tuesday night, six people have died and nearly ten have been injured in four separate accidents in Telangana.

According to the authorities, the accidents were caused by reckless driving and negligence. On Tuesday night, two youth were killed and seven others were injured in a car accident in Medchal, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

According to the police, a car heading from Medchal to Suchitra Road collided with the road median at the Medchal checkpoint. In a car being driven at a high speed, a group of nine individuals were traveling. The driver of the vehicle lost control and rammed into the median. One died on the spot, while the other died on the way to the hospital. Seven more people were injured in the collision and were taken to the Gandhi Hospital.

Gaurav Singh and Dibbu Singh were recognized as the victims. The group was reportedly inebriated and returning to the city after attending a party, according to police.

Around midnight, two boys were killed and two others were injured in an accident between two two-wheelers in Suryapet district. The accident happened when a motorcycle carrying three young people was returning from a fair on Maha Shivaratri when it collided with another motorcycle going from the opposite direction. The tragedy near Kodad claimed the lives of two of the youths on the first motorcycle.
