Firozabad: The effect of the ongoing exercise to purify the climate of Suhaganagari and get rid of pollution is not being seen. At the same time Firozabad's name is also included in the top ten polluted cities, despite the effective control of stubble burning in the field and ban on industrial expansion as well as banning coal and wood as fuel. The ninth place of the Ferozabad survey conducted by the Green Peace India organization shows that there has not been any concrete work for pollution control here. The situation of air and noise pollution in Firozabad, which is included in the Taj Trapezium Zone, is worrisome. To prevent air pollution, coal and wood have been banned as fuel for many years in Suhaganagari. There is a strong control of the administration on burning crop residue (straw) in the fields.

It has been learned that the establishment of Orange and Red category industries in Firozabad, which is included in the industrial city, has also been banned since the year 1996. But despite this, the situation of air pollution is not improving as expected. According to the report of the National Air Comprehensive Quality Monitoring Program on the instructions of the Union Forest and Environment Ministry, Firozabad has been placed at the ninth position in the state in terms of air pollution.

Green belt exercise incomplete: According to the information received from sources, factory owners will have to install green belt for air pollution control and carbon offsetting. For this, categories have been set according to the production capacity of industrial units. But the Green Belt exercise is incomplete.
