The trailer of Gold has finally released on Monday. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in lead roles, Amit Sadh and Kunal Kapoor are also playing vital roles in the film.
The film revolves around the period of 1948 focusing on the game of Indian hockey. Akshay will be seen playing the role of Tapan Das whose dream is to win a Gold at Olympics post-independence.

Mouni Roy who is the female lead and playing the love interest of Akshay Kumar looks stunning in her first Bollywood film.

Naagin actor, Mouni making us excited to see more of her in the film. Mouni is playing a role of a Bengali woman in Gold and her Bengali avatar looks impressive. 

In an interview, Mouni Roy talked about being a part of the film and the entire experience of shooting for it.

She said that she got goosebumps seeing the Gold poster and working on the film as invoked a lot of patriotism in her.

Gold is Mouni’s first Bollywood film, she remembers each and every moment and the film's set is special to her. Gold is all set to release on August 15, 2018.
