Skincare product that sting or tingle is a big NO

Usually, when we go to the parlour, we invite many chemical based products. When we have tried on a face mask, we all experience that tingle or sting. We assume that it is the producing working its magic on our skin. But it is not true. Heres why these sensations are not good for our skin. Check it out.

Products that sting
We normally miss-conceptualize that uncomfortable sensation with the product soaking in. Instead, it isn't actually your skin barrier getting disrupted. This results in rashes, redness, irritation, acne, and even wrinkles. So if you let it sit on your face the more it will break your skin’s barrier.
The skin’s barrier basically acts like a wall for your skin. A fine layer that locks in the moisture and keeps the bad guys out. Hence, when you use a product that is too severe for your skin. The wall goes from being a brick to Swiss cheese. So whatever moisture is locked in essentially dries out and whatever irritants are barricaded sneaks in.
When the formula starts to tingle, that’s when you know that your skin is crying for help.  It’s sending you an SOS signal. This applies to face masks, face washes, and even the creams. If your skin feels super dry post the wash it’s your SOS signal. Same with anti-acne products, if it stings, it’s not your thing.
