As the festive season approaches, auto companies are launching new models one after the other. Two new cars from Kia and one new car from Nissan are going to be launched in October. At the same time, Skoda Auto India is also involved in this race and the company is going to launch its first sub-compact SUV Skoda Kylaq in November. The launch date of this car has also been confirmed now.

Engine and power of Skoda Kylaq: Skoda Kylaq will be launched with a 1.0 liter three cylinder TSI petrol engine, which will generate 114bhp of power and 178Nm of torque. This SUV will be launched in the market with 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic options. In terms of engine, this car has been designed keeping in mind both performance and fuel efficiency.

Skoda Kylaq Launch Date: Skoda will launch this new SUV in the Indian market on 6 November 2024. However, its sales are expected to start from January 2025 next year. With this launch, Skoda is bringing another new offering in the Indian sub-compact SUV segment.

Possible features of Skoda Kylaq: Although Skoda has not yet revealed the features of this upcoming SUV, it is expected that this SUV can be given premium features like panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and wireless charging. Apart from this, many advanced features of infotainment system and connectivity are also likely to be included in it.

Skoda Kylaq's competitors: Skoda Kylaq will compete with popular models already present in the market, including vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue. All these cars have already established their hold in the Indian market, so Skoda Kylaq may face a tough challenge.

Safety Rating of Skoda Kylaq: Skoda's existing cars like Skoda Kushaq and Slavia have received 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. It is expected that Skoda Kylaq will also be prepared to a high standard in terms of safety. After its launch, the crash test conducted by Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP will give a true idea of the strength of this vehicle. Even before the launch of Skoda Kylaq, its discussion has started among Indian customers. With its powerful engine, potential premium features, and safety standards, this SUV can become a strong option in the Indian market.
