Skoda Auto India has opened bookings for its newest sub-compact SUV, the Kylaq, starting today (December 2) at 4.00 PM. The starting price for the entry-level variant is Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the complete price list, covering all four variants—Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige—will be shared later today.
The Kylaq enters the competitive sub-compact SUV market, challenging popular models like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Deliveries are set to begin on January 27, 2025.
Kylaq Features and Highlights
The Kylaq is built on Skoda's MQB-A0-IN platform, designed specifically for the Indian market. Despite its compact size, it offers ample space with a length of 3,995 mm, width of 1,975 mm, height of 1,575 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,566 mm. The SUV also offers a ground clearance of 189 mm.
