Skoda, the world's popular automobile manufacturer, is going to launch a new variant of its SUV Kodiaq. Kodiaq will have a new variant scout and the company will launch it in India on 30 September. The Scout is a more off-road focused version of the SUV. This SUV can come with a rugged look and additional features. Kodiaq is currently coming in two variants (Style and L&K) and its ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 35.37 lakh and Rs 36.79 lakh respectively.

Recently, the Corporate Edition Skoda has launched, which is Rs 2.37 lakh affordable from the style variant. Since the price of Kodiaq Scout in Overseas market is more than L&K variant, in India, its price can be more than Rs 36.79 lakh. However, nothing has been said by the company about its pricing and other details. The Scout tag first came to India in the form of the Fabia Scout and is usually reserved for the company's more off-road focused variant.

For your information, the ground clearance of Kodiaq Scout is 194mm, which is 6mm more than the regular variants. Apart from this, full underbody protection has been given in Kodiaq Scout to protect all expensive hardware. The Kodiaq Scout can come with a 2.0-liter TDI engine. The engine mounted on the Scout generates 150 PS of power and 340Nm of peak torque. The SUV comes with a 7-speed DSG transmission and all-wheel-drive.

The Kodiaq Scout can have a digital instrument display, drive modes, panoramic sunroof, Android Auto and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay. The Skoda SUV can come with skid plates and 19-inch restored alloy wheels. If we talk about the safety feature, then many airbags, ESC, keyless entry, engine start/stop button have been made available.
