Katrina Kaif has made her name in Bollywood with many films also she works very hard to improve herself in acting. Kat last seen in her recent release Baar Baar Dekho. Now to honour Katrina for her contribution to Indian Cinema, She will soon be honoured with the Smita Patil Memorial.

On September,19 the Smita Patil award will be presented to Katrina Kaif at the Global Awards ceremony in Mumbai. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman of Priyadarshni Academy confirmed the news and also said that "this year the jury has unanimously nominated Katrina for the Smita Patil Memorial Award for her work in films and as a recognition to an outstanding individual who has shown excellence in her field."
