Smoking is harmful to health, it is known to everybody, but do you know how much the risk of getting cancer from smoking increases? Smoking is said to increase the risk of cancer but you may not know how much the risk increases. That's what we're going to tell you today.

Smokers think that by reducing cigarettes, they can reduce any risk. So these are your misconceptions. People who smoke are well aware that doing so can lead to cancer, but some people live even in the misconception that less smoking can save them from this risk. Indeed, research has shown that a third of smokers believe that smoking at least 10 cigarettes a day does not pose a risk of lung cancer to them.

Laurent Greillier, a researcher at the Nord Hospital in Marseille, France, believes that this thinking of people is causing smoke around the world. Laurent's research is based on experiments conducted on 1602 people in France aged 40 to 75. Of these, 40 percent believe that smoking 10 a day is not dangerous.
