NEW DELHI: On Thursday, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Azam Khan in the Lok Sabha gave a controversial remark. BJP MPs asked Azam Khan to apologise for his controversial remarks on BJP MP Rama Devi, who was sitting in the speaker's chair. BJP MPs say if Azam does not apologise, he should be sacked from the House.
On the other hand, Union Minister and BJP MP from Amethi Lok Sabha seat Smriti Irani has said that women were disdained in the House on Thursday which has been seen by the entire country. He said, SP MP Azam Khan should apologise to BJP woman MP Rama Devi and if he does not do so, he should be dismissed from the House. He said in a stern tone that if any MP had made such remarks outside the House, the police would have acted by now.
In fact, during the debate on the triple talaq bill in the Lok Sabha, there was an uproar a comment by MP Azam Khan from the Rampur Lok Sabha seat. Azam Khan spoke to a sher' not talking about, 'Tu Idher Udher Mat Dekh '. Started with, but then the BJP MPs started uproar over what Azam Khan said.
