Union Minister and Amethi MP Smriti Irani has been in trouble in the international shooter Vartika Singh case. In fact, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court while hearing the international shooter Vartika Singh case has issued notices to Union Minister Smriti Irani, her personal secretary and co-associate. The Lucknow bench issued notices and asked the trio to record their statements.
What is the whole matter: On December 23, 2020, shooter Vartika Singh filed a complaint under 156/3 in the MP/MLA Court in Sultanpur. In the complaint, Vartika Singh had alleged that Union Minister Smriti Irani's personal secretary Vijay Gupta and her co-associate Dr Rajneesh Singh from Ayodhya were demanding a bribe of Rs 25 lakh to make them members of the State Commission for Women. The case was heard in the MP/MLA court and on February 20, the court dismissed the complaint filed for want of evidence.
Statement stobefiled in high court on July 26: It is learnt that Vartika Singh's advocate Arvind Singh Raja challenged the writ rejected by the MP/MLA court in the High Court Lucknow and the revision has been filed. The high court, hearing on Friday, has ordered all the accused to record their statements on July 26. Arvind Singh Raja is a well-known criminal lawyer in sultanpur civil court.
What Vartika Singh's lawyer said: Arvind Singh Raja says high court has taken the entire case seriously. We have provided all the evidence to the court. In which the audio recording of the Union Minister has also been given in the court. Union Minister Smriti Irani's personal secretary Vijay Gupta's Tahrir was booked against Vartika Singh at Musafirkhana Kotwali in Amethi on November 23, 2020. Vartika challenged the case in court and another case was registered against her at Munshiganj police station in Amethi.
