The politics of Bengal have become even more heated after the death of 85-year-old Shobha Majumdar mother of injured BJP activist Gopal Majumdar in the alleged attack by TMC workers. Home Minister Amit Shah had attacked Mamata Banerjee for the attack and now Union Minister Smriti Irani has reacted sharply. The BJP has also submitted a memorandum to the governor requesting a stringent investigation on the culprits.
'Gundaraj will not run in Bengal': Union Minister Smriti Irani has warned CM Mamata Banerjee that 'Gundaraj will no longer run in Bengal.' Reacting to the incident, Smriti Irani spoke, an 80-year-old woman in West Bengal was brutally killed by TMC goons. Her fault was that her son and her family were supporters of the BJP. The daughter is a BJP worker. The people of West Bengal are warning Mamata Banerjee that TMC will no longer run Gundaraj in Bengal.
Memorandum assigned to governor: Where it comes to know that a BJP delegation met the Governor in this case. BJP leaders have appealed to the governor to submit a memorandum, strict investigation on those responsible for the death of 85-year-old Shobha Majumdar. It is also being said that the Alleged TMC workers had attacked Shobha Majumdar badly and injured her a month ago, who lived in the Namita area of the North Parganas district. She died on Monday.
