Haryana, people had to face the humid heat in August. The reason is less rain than usual. The state has received 52 percent less rainfall than normal in August, due to which farmers are so worried. and the sowing of crops in the Kharif season has fallen  20 thousand acres compared to the previous year.

Last year, Kharif crop was sown in 28.55 lakh hectare. Whereas this time the figure can go up to 28.47 lakh hectares. If the same situation prevails, there may be trouble for other crops including paddy. Because these days the humidity is high and crops require more water.

Weather experts believe that there may be more rainfall in 3 days expected, due to which the lack of rain can be overcome to a great extent. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some places, from June 1 to August 12, monsoon season started, Karnal received 520 mm of rain, which is 59 percent more than normal. In Kurukshetra, 447 mm is 40 percent more rain and in Kaithal, it is 408 mm, which is 86 percent more rain. Sowing of crops in 30.56 lakh hectares is to be done in the Kharif season, out of which 28.47 lakh hectares have been sown, which is about 93 percent of the target. In August, there was less rainfall in 9 districts in the state,  one district has very less, normal in seven districts, more than normal in other three districts, and much rain in one district. The greatest reason for this is anti-cyclone is to be sustained, farmers can get relief only if monsoon activity increases again. Due to this, the groundwater level will increase, the average groundwater in the state has gone down by 21 meters.
