New Delhi: Delhi Police has busted a gang that used to lure individuals with mobiles for less money through fake call centres and take orders from individuals and send them soap instead. Police have arrested 53 persons of the gang. According to Deputy Police Commissioner Pranab Tayal, the criminals used to run 2 illegal call centres from where they used to call individuals calling themselves postal officers. The leader of the call centre was an employee of the postal department. The racket preyed on individuals in many states.

According to the same police, the gang used to lure individuals that offers have been issued for a very short period of time that individuals will get two mobile phones worth Rs 18,000 for just Rs 4500. He used to deliver mobiles and other things to the persons through Indian Post. At the same time, the gang also gave individuals the option of cash on delivery. So that they have no doubt anywhere.

On the other hand, the Patiala House Court in Delhi has sentenced two Hizb-UL-Mujahideen terrorists for 12 years each and two other members of the organization to 10 years each for conspiring to carry out terrorist activities and raising funds for them. Special Judge Praveen Singh on Monday sentenced Mohammad Shafi Shah and Muzaffar Ahmed Dar to 12 years each and Talib Lali and Mushtaq Ahmed Lone to 10 years each.
