Sikhism was founded on the fundamentals of secularism and selfless service. The scriptures of sikh religion teach us humanity and service before self-uprooting the superstitions elating the virtues of a religion to higher level. There are non profit volunteer organizations working at national and international level under the umbrella of gurudwaras.

Japneet Singh Deol is the pioneer member of Khalsa Aid. Sr. Ravinder Singh conceived the idea with a vision to extend help to the victims of natural and man-made disasters. He set up Khalsa India in 1999 in the UK. It was just the beginning; it spread over across the world and was nominated for the noble prize in 2021. The organization was registered in India in 2014, came forward to serve wholeheartedly and covered more than 11 states rendering services across the country from North to South. The director of India and the Asia Pacific Amarpreet Singh provided full fledged support, holding the position since 2014

Japneet Singh Deol is the dedicated worker who reached far off places even across the geographical boundaries doing social work and made Khalsa  Aid India one of the leading organizations. Japneet Singh is the Trustee of the Khalsa AID India. Literary meaning of Khalsa is Purity and it reached masses without any racial or religious discrimination proving it true to the word, the meaning it holds. Kha;sa India  worked during Afghanistan crisis helping the Afghans studying in Punjab. The organization provided Groceries and medical kids. Japneet singh helped out the Afghan nationals those who were fled from their own country and took refuge in India during the Afghan crisis. They acted as true disciples of Gurus who saved the humanity from the clutches of cruel intruders before independence

Khalsa India  is always  the first organization to reach  the disaster hit venue rendering relief work, they have set up a help line to be accessible to  every person or organization whenever they seek help; They have gone digital by setting up an app if somebody needs an oxygen concentrator  in the Covid- Hit scenario They made their name during Kerala floods and reached North states when they were worst hit by floods Ln 2018 there were floods in Kerala due to heavy rains, no hope of survival was to be seen. Houses were washed away lives were at stake. Japneet Singh Deol with his team reached under the flag ship of  Khalsa India and started relief works by setting up Langar with the help of Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara.They fed freshly prepared food to more than 3000 people. Distributed ration and medical kits. They were the first ones to start relief work in Karimganj district

Treading the same path making every verse of GuruGranth Sahib true the team reached North East (Assam) , the trustee himself rendered services to rescue the victims of the flood by providing basic amenities to all age groups including children, old people, sick and pregnant ladies.Japneet Singh has always been active and keeps vigilant eye on the happenings across the country and other countries as well like a warrior  and a true sikh without any discrimination. Gurudwaras have always been acentres for community food and keeping doors open to provide shelter, with the dedication of volunteers like Japneet Singh Deol compassion, generosity and selfless service and not just the words but become practically meaningful.
