Lucknow: Terming terrorism as a futile issue, Congress national general secretary and party in charge in UP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has gone all-round. In an interview yesterday, Priyanka Gandhi had said that terrorism is an issue of futility and BJP leaders are raising the issue because of the elections. Priyanka's statement has been taken aback by UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted a video of Priyanka's statement and wrote, "To speak of terrorism as a matter of merit, the country's defence and security have taken iron from terrorists and have done the job of putting salt in the wounds of the sacrificial security forces and the families of those martyred in the attacks.'' Mrs Priyanka Gandhi: You will not forgive the country for this. Let us know that the terrorism that Priyanka Gandhi has called the issue of wastefulness, it has dominated the country a lot during the UPA government of her own party. Be it the bomb blasts in Ahmedabad and Surat, the blasts in Malegaon and Samjhauta Express or the horrific 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai.

Let us know that all these terrorist attacks took place during the tenure of the Congress government and in every case, the action was not taken as expected by the central government. Even Manish Tewari, who was a minister in the UPA government, had said that the Manmohan Singh government of the Congress did not take the drastic step it should have taken after the Mumbai terror attack. Not only this, Priyanka Gandhi's father Rajiv Gandhi himself died due to terrorism, while his grandmother Indira Gandhi was also killed due to Khalistani terrorists. But even after this, the whole world is struggling to fight, that terrorism is considered to be an issue of wasteful to Priyanka Gandhi, then it is necessary to question Priyanka and the Congress.
