Mumbai: An old video of CM Uddhav Thackeray is now going viral after the arrest of Union Minister Narayan Rane for allegedly making a "controversial" statement against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. In this video, he has used abusive language for Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Sharing the video on social media, some people are now demanding Uddhav Thackeray's arrest.

According to media reports, the video is from the year 2018. Uddhav Thackeray was addressing a rally for the Palghar Lok Sabha bypoll while making the statement. During that time, Uddhav Thackeray had attacked Yogi Adityanath saying, "Adityanath came yesterday. Yogi! Hey, this is a Bhogi. He sits in the chief minister's chair, what kind of Yogi is he! He is a gas balloon. He was donning a necklace at the statue of Shivaji Maharaj while wearing slippers. He should be hit with the same slipper.'' CM Yogi Adityanath had also responded to Thackeray's statement. CM Yogi had said, "I have more courtesy than him (Uddhav Thackeray) and I know how to pay tribute. I don't have to learn anything from them.''
Now posting the same old video, Priyanka Sharma writes, 'Uddhav Thackeray should be lodged in Lucknow jail for such remarks on Yogi Adityanath.' Another user writes, "Maharaj Ji, the insignificant thoughts of this person about you are going to hurt the mind. I request the Uttar Pradesh police to arrest this person at the earliest and put him in jail.'' By this statement, not only a Yogi but also the CM of the largest state have been insulted. While Narayan Rane was arrested for just saying to slap Uddhav, social media users are now saying that the Maharashtra CM should also be arrested because the law is the same for all.
