New Delhi: The Delhi government has started preparations to save the country's capital Delhi from pollution. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has tweeted that this time too, the ban on online sale/delivery of firecrackers in Delhi will continue. The ban on firecrackers will remain in force till January 1, 2023.

Gopal Rai has informed that an action plan will be prepared in collaboration with Delhi Police, DPCC and Revenue Department to strictly implement the ban. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said, "In order to save people from the danger of pollution in Delhi, like last year, the production, storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers are being completely banned so that people's lives can be saved."

In another tweet, Gopal Rai said, "A meeting was held with all concerned departments regarding the Winter Action Plan. At the 15 focus points prepared by the government, about 30 departments were given the task of preparing detailed plans. The environment department has been directed to take a report from all departments by September 15 and submit a detailed winter action plan.''

Objections started on social media:-

Let us know that this decision of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Delhi has also started to be opposed. People say that the government remembers all the restrictions only on Hindu festivals. Arjun commented, 'You do not do anything throughout the year and in the end, you ban crackers and sleep.' Another user wrote, "Minister, please tell me how much pollution has been caused by the bombing of Ukraine by Russia for 4-5 months, or all the glaciers melt with Diwali firecrackers.''

Sunny Goyal wrote, 'Now you have a government in Punjab, stop stubble burning there too.' Rahul Panwar wrote, "Till last year, they used to blame the stubble of Punjab for the pollution in Delhi, now whether only firecrackers have started polluting the stubble, Yamuna is not cleaned, pollution is not cleaned, just what ads should be printed, he is an expert in that work, #adskisarkar is only an expert in publicity.'' Kushal wrote, "Your heart anyway feels in the Rohingya people, directly tell Hindus to leave the country, Hindus can neither live happily in India nor in Pakistan."
