New Delhi: Congress senior leader Udit Raj has come under the scanner of social media users for one of his tweets over the alleged reports of atrocities on Dalits. In fact, Udit Raj tweeted appealing to Dalits not to go to temples. He has said that Dalits keep being beaten up, but after that they are also not going to go to the temple, in such a way that they should be beaten up further.

In a tweet, Udit Raj wrote, "Day by day, there are reports that Dalits are prevented from entering the temple or reciting puja and are also beaten up. I want them to be beaten up and then they will stop going. Why go where there is no respect?' Many social media users have reacted to his tweet.''
