From 'Tumbad' to 'Ship of Theseus', Sohum Shah has not only proved his versatility as an actor but has also won the hearts of his fans as a prolific artist. With every movie, the actor tried to portray a different character. Sohum has a different side when it comes to his portrayal of the personality of the various roles he plays on screen. Talking about this, Sohum has said, “Yes, I think it is true. Sometimes as an actor, you feel dull playing the same type of character. Luckily for me, all the characters have been different, be it 'Tumbad', 'Ship of Theseus' or 'Empress' - all are different."

Talking about portraying a challenging character line in his upcoming movie ambitious project 'Maharani', he says, "This time around the series is going to bring a different side of my personality. It's going to have fun of its own because you understand the character a little better. Bhima Bharati is a character that is larger than life, having strong dialogues like the movies of the 70s and 80s. My character is from a small town and I grew up watching such films. So working in 'Maharani' has helped me to relive those memories as well."

Sohum's fans are always eagerly waiting for his upcoming projects. While they have liked him a lot in the 'Tumbbad' and 'Maharani' seasons, the actor is all set for the second season of the popular show. However, while raising the excitement levels of his fans and building anticipation, the actor keeps sharing glimpses of the show on his social media. Sohum is also reportedly seen shooting for 'Maharani 2' at different places. 'Maharani 2' Besides Reema Kagti's 'Fallen' near Sohum is also in the pipeline.
